Sunshine Dizon opened up in a social media post that she has been diagnosed with several mental health conditions.

KAMI learned that on her socmed pages, the 39-year-old celebrity shared a photo showing the medicines she takes.

In the caption, she wrote, “And since im here alone feeling overwhelmed guess its time to admit what I’ve been going through recently.”

“Diagnosed with PTSD, Depression, Panic attacks, Abandonement issues and thats just skimming the surface. Im on xanor, jovia, revotril for emergencies and stilnox,” Sunshine revealed.

The veteran actress went on to express her optimistic thoughts.

“You may ask why now? Only because i want to free myself from the stigma. There’s nothing wrong to ask for help. I know it’s very hard to get stuck in your head. But we can do it, baby steps. One day at a time.”

Her followers, including celebrities, then took to the comments section of her post on IG to pen their caring messages for Sunshine.

Such celebrities include Danica Sotto, Carla Abellana, Vina Morales, Iza Calzado, Sherilyn Tan, Janine Gutierrez and Karylle.

Sunshine Dizon is a well-known actress in the Philippines. She worked for GMA for 25 years before finally transferring to ABS-CBN. The actress married businessman Timothy Tan in 2010 and they have two children. However, their marriage ended in 2016.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Sunshine has expressed her gratitude to Timothy, since, despite their issues, he is still a good co-parent to their children.

Meanwhile, Sunshine turned emotional during her guesting at "Magandang Buhay." During her interview, Sunshine was completely stunned when Iza Calzado and Karylle came over. This prompted Sunshine to openly admit that she got teary-eyed due to her friends' surprise visit. According to Karylle, she even had to hide it from Sunshine when the latter asked if she had a taping that day.
