Ogie Diaz, in a post on his Facebook account, admired the hard work that Aiko Melendez has been putting in her work as a city councilor.

The showbiz reporter and talent manager revealed that Aiko would often visit the fifth district of Quezon City to see what she could do for her constituents.

He then expressed his opinion that other officials who won the election aren’t even seen by their constituents after winning.

“Konsehala. Masipag bumaba sa distrito 5 ng QC habang yung ibang nanalo, di na napagkikikita ng mga constituents,” Ogie wrote in his post.

Ogie also posted what appeared to be a reply from Aiko to a series of questions.

“Nako, ako, Mader, ayokong may masabi ang mga ka-Distrito ko na ipinanalo nila ako, tapos, di na nila ako nakikita,” what seemed to be Aiko’s reply read.
“Kahit gaano tayo kaabala sa taping ng Mano Po, ginagawan ko ng paraan yung baba ko sa Kyusi. Di pwedeng hindi,” the reply further read.

“Nagbababa tayo ng projects sa kanila. Eto ngang recently, si Sen. Grace Poe, nagbigay ng ayuda sa constituents natin. Ang nakasama natin diyan, si Brian, yung panganay ni Sen. Grace. Kaya sobrang thankful tayo kay Senadora,” what appeared to be the reply of the actress also said.

The talent manager said he’s known Aiko to be a workaholic and appeared to become sick if she wasn’t able to visit her district.

“Workaholic yang si Aiko na isa na ring The Ogie Diaz Talents. (Na kung may inquiry kayo ay paki-message ang road manager niyang si Ian Buenaventura.),” the showbiz reporter and talent manager wrote.
“Parang magkakasakit yang si Aiko pag di nakababa sa distrito niya,” Ogie concluded.

Aiko is a well-known showbiz personality. She received the Best Supporting Actress award in 2018 for her role in the film "Rainbow's Sunset." Aiko ran for and won a seat on the Quezon City Council in 2001. She served for 9 years, until 2010.

The actress was also praised by showbiz reporter and talent manager in a social media post. He said that Aiko is a good actress and her acting skills are superb.
