A netizen responded to Pokwang and said that she can remember one episode where the comedienne played the lead role. The episode was "Escoba."

"naalala ko pa din yung episode mo #escoba"

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic.

Pokwang and her daughter, Malia, have recently been trending on social media. Earlier, the celebrity mom uploaded a video of her daughter eating vegetables. In the viral video, Malia could be seen holding a piece of lettuce in her hands. This prompted netizens to laud Malia for eating her vegetables with enthusiasm.

Pokwang reacted to Senator Jinggoy Estrada saying that he sometimes thinks about banning K-Dramas in the Philippines. The Kapuso star shared that she appreciates the senator’s desire for local artists to succeed. Nonetheless, she does not believe that banning Korean dramas in the country will resolve the issue. She suggested that the Philippine government should take notes from the South Korean government on the way it supports and promote its entertainment industry.
