Cristy Fermin sa pangangatawan ngayon ni Vhong Navarro: “Napakapayat”

Cristy Fermin once again talked about Vhong Navarro, who made headlines after being transferred from the NBI Detention Center to the Taguig City Jail.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the veteran showbiz columnist and Romel Chika aired their honest thoughts on the actor’s current physique.

“Nakita mo si Vhong, diba, bagsak ang balikat," Romel said.

Cristy then reacted, “Napakapayat. Pumayat at saka ano talaga, nakakalungkot. Hindi naman siya siguro maaaring masaktan doon (Taguig City jail) dahil ayon nga sa mga nakausap naman ng kanyang mga abogado ay mahigpit doon lalo na ang warden, mahigpit talaga.”

“Kaya nga lang po sabi nga namin, kahit sa ano man pong paraan, ang pagkakulong ay pagkakulong,” she continued.

Furthermore, Cristy asked those who are siding with Vhong to pray for him.

“Ipinalangin na lang natin na sana'y mabigyan na siya ng piyansa. Baka ang kasunod na nito ay ang pagbibigay ng piyansa sa kanya dahil nandoon na siya sa pinag-ugatan ng kaso,” said Cristy.

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

Vhong was transferred to the Taguig City Jail from the NBI Detention Center. A video of him being ushered out of the detention center was shared by ABS-CBN news reporter Niko Baua. Another video was subsequently shared, which showed Tanya Bautista, Vhong's wife, going with him during the transfer.

Vhong's former wife, actress Bianca Lapus, then published a solemn Instagram story. Her post shows a Bible verse from the Book of Psalms, where the psalmist prays to be delivered from ungodly people and injustice. In the caption, Bianca wrote "for Vhong" along with an emoji that depicts praying hands. Before the said IG story, Bianca also shared cryptic posts about justice.
