Carla Abellana reacts to Neil Arce’s statement on fake news about him, Angel Locsin: “Yun”

Angel Locsin and Neil Arce have recently been making headlines due to the emergence of several rumors about them.

Such rumors surfaced amidst the actress’ social media hiatus.

Neil then broke his silence and addressed the rumors in a statement shared in the latest “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” vlog.

He dismissed the rumors and branded them as “fake news.”

Carla Abellana then took to her Instagram stories to share Inquirer.net’s art card that shows the film director’s statement. It reads:

“Me and wife are charitable people. Donation na po namin sa fake news peddlers yang kikitain nila sa pagkakalat ng fake news. Besides deserve naman ng followers and subscriber nila makarinig ng kasinungalingan.”

In the caption, Carla simply wrote, “Yun.”

However, the Kapuso star did not elaborate on her post.

Angelica Locsin Colmenares-Arce, better known as Angel Locsin, is a Pinay TV and film actress, philanthropist, film producer, commercial model, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. She rose to fame after portraying the role of Alwina in the TV series "Mulawin," and later on as the superheroine Darna. Angel was with GMA Network up to 2007 until she moved to rival ABS-CBN.

Several claims that Angel and Neil are having marriage woes surfaced amidst the actress’ absence on social media. Nanay Cristy then urged the public, “Hintayin po muna natin na magsalita ang mag-asawa."
