During the interview, Piolo admitted to temporarily becoming a bit proud and entitled after gaining success in show business.

“Admittedly, yeah. Na parang feeling ko I deserved this, na this is because of what I’m doing.
"And good thing, I understood that, I realized that early on. Because after all nung mga accolades, after all nung mga victories and successes, I felt empty.
"My saving grace is my family. They never looked at me as celebrity.
"Whenever I’m home, they always make sure that I feel grounded. Pwede pa rin nila akong utusan. And you know, hindi nila fini-feed yung ego ko,” Piolo told Korina.

Piolo Pascual is a famous actor and endorser in the Philippines. He has appeared on TV shows like Gimik and Mara Clara during the early 90s. He rose to prominence after being paired with Judy Ann Santos, with their love team becoming the talk of the town during the early 2000s. They did four multi-awarded movies during that time — Till There Was You, Kahit Isang Saglit, Don't Give Up on Us, and Bakit Di Totohanin.

In a previous report, Lolit actually penned an appreciation post for hunk actor Piolo Pascual. She wrote that Piolo is right that a person can be happy despite being single. Additionally, she said that the proof of Piolo’s genuine kindness is that he has forgotten what she did to him in the past.
