Sharon Cuneta went viral months ago due to a video of her being turned away from a Hermès store in South Korea, buying stuff from a Louis Vuitton store, and then showing the Hermès guard her purchases from the other store.

After the video went viral, some netizens accused Sharon of being ignorant of the necessity of making an appointment before going to a Hermès boutique.

Some netizens also accused Sharon of showing arrogance towards the Hermès security guard by showing him her Louis Vuitton purchases.

In her new YouTube vlog, Sharon clarified that she is aware of the need to make an appointment. However, she also knows that some boutiques allow customers to go in without an appointment when there are few customers inside.

“I know that you need an appointment with an Hermès boutique before you can go…”

“Usually, pag konti lang naman ang clients sa loob, yung shoppers, sometimes they let you in,” Sharon said.

She also denied getting mad at the Hermès guard and showing arrogance towards him.

“Wala namang kinalaman yung guard, bakit naman sasama ang loob ko?

“Hindi rin ako nagyabang kaya sabi ko, ‘Yes, I cannot go [inside]. Look, I bought everything.’ Ginanun ko lang siya, pero nakangiti ako,” the Megastar explained.

Sharon Cuneta, also known as The Megastar, is a famous Filipina actress, singer, host, and endorser. She is the wife of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and the mother of actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion, whose father is actor Gabby Concepcion.

She also took to Instagram and shared more emotional photos of her with Cherie Gil at the hospital. The Megastar's eyes were already puffy, perhaps from crying her heart out as she tries to comfort her best friend. She was also holding the frail hands of Cherie and one could see how the latter was clasping the same with her remaining strength. Sharon misses Cherie so much, and she said that she could not just imagine the days and the years without the premier actress.
