Iya Villania, in her latest interview with Bernadette Sembrano, talked about her and Drew Arellano's parenting style when it comes to their four kids.
During their discussion, KAMI learned that Iya opened up about Primo, whom they still haven't enrolled in school.
According to the celebrity mom, her mom often gets stressed about it, "Actually, si mommy na-stress, 'Anak, kailan mo i-enroll si Primo? Hindi ba siya mag-aaral?'"
"With my kids, as much as possible, I don't want to force them to do things unless it's something that they have to do like take a shower, or brush their teeth," Iya began.

The celebrity mom then shared that both she and Drew are "pretty lenient with schooling" and that what's more important are the values.
"Like even with schooling, Drew and I are pretty lenient with schooling also. Hindi pa nga namin na-enroll si Primo eh. I think for us, what's more important are the values, and I feel the values are what's taught and what they really pick up more at home," she explained.
According to Iya, she and Drew share the same sentiments that the things they learned in school are things they "never really needed or even applied."
"In reality, we both feel that there are a lot of things that we learned in school that we actually never really needed or even applied. So what's more important for Drew and I is that, well actually they just learn what they need, which I feel we can do pa at home," she said.
However, Iya did reveal that she already asked Primo if he wanted to go to school since his friends are enrolled.
"Cause his friends are enrolled and I asked him, 'Love, do you want to go to school?' and he goes, "Yeah' tapos biglang, 'But not every day.' And I said, 'Why love?' 'Because I'm gonna miss my family,'" Iya recalled.
At one point, Iya said, "If he wants to go to school, we will enroll him. Basta what's important is, he wants to learn, he wants to do it not because were telling him that he has to."
