Mel De Guia, niresbakan mga bashers ng partner na si Sheryn Regis; pinuna fans ni Morissette Amon

- Mel De Guia took to Twitter and lashed out at the basher of her partner Sheryn Regis

- The basher was comparing Morissette Amon and Sheryn, alleging that the song "Gusto Ko Ng Bumitaw" became popular only because of Mori

- Mel took the cudgels for Sheryn and made a lengthy narrative on what really transpired with the single

- She also called out the fans of Mori and said that if she were in front of Mori, she will tell the latter that her fans are so toxic

Mel De Guia defended Sheryn Regis from a basher who compared Sheryn with Morissette Amon and who also said that it was because of Mori that her song became popular.

The basher even insinuated that Sheryn earned much again because of the revival of Morissette of the song because Sheryn allegedly was not able to make the song popular.

Mel, who is the partner of Sheryn, immediately came to the defense of the singer.

She said that the basher obviously does not know what really happened and does not know the industry.

The partner of Sheryn then said that the song was released in October 2021 then two months after, it was decided to make it the theme song of "The Broken Marriage Vow" and let Mori sing it.

It was also supposed to be the comeback of Sheryn but she respected the decision of Star Music.

At the end of a lengthy post, she told the basher to stop comparing and called out the fans of Mori as being very toxic.

"Kung kaharap ko lang ulit si Morissette ngayon sasabihin ko ang totoxic ng fans niya."

Sheryn Regis is a Pinay pop singer and songwriter, TV host, occasional actress, and entrepreneur. She rose to stardom during the first season of Star in a Million singing competition, where she placed runner-up to the competition’s champion, Erik Santos, way back in 2003.

Sheryn took to social media to “flex” the ring that her partner, content creator Mel de Guia. In her post, she said that her heart is leaping with joy and excitement because of the wonderful surprise first-anniversary gift. She also expressed her gratefulness to her partner, saying that she has lots of things to say to her for everything she has done for the singer. Sheryn then thanked Mel for the unconditional love and then said that she loves her partner more and more each day.

Ice Seguerra expressed his happiness for ‘Crystal Voice of Asia’ Sheryn Regis and Mel De Guia in a comment on the latest post of Sheryn. Sheryn’s post showed her and YouTube sensation Mel De Guia holding each other in a sweet, twinning pose. The Crystal Voice of Asia, in reply to the comment, immediately thanked Ice for the greeting. Despite their sweet photos and videos, the two have yet to confirm whether they are in a relationship or simply close friends.
