Pia Wurtzbach was said to be the highest IG earner from the Philippines, a study released by NetCredit showed.

From many international celebrities, Pia was the only Filipino who made it to the list.

The NetCredit study was titled, "Which Celebrity Earns the Most from Instagram in The World."

As per the study, and as reported also by ABS-CBN, in 2021, Pia earned approximately P216 million.

According to NetCredit, they collated data from different countries, identifying the most-followed IG users.

They then identified, which of the posts of these celebs were sponsored.

Some of those who were also in the list include Justin Bieber, Ellen Degeneres, Dua Lipa, Lisa of Blackpink.

As per NZ Herald, Cristiano Ronaldo was the topmost IG earner at more than $85 million.

Pia is a Filipino-German actress, model, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title.

She placated the fans of Joshua Garcia by telling them through a social media post that she is not planning to cut into the line. Earlier, fans of the actor told the actress in jest that even if one is Ms. Universe, she has to get in line in order to have the opportunity to be the GF of the actor. Because of this, the former Ms. Universe has to issue a statement on the matter, which she did through a post on social media. She jokingly said that she doesn’t have any plans of cutting into any existing line and that she’s aware there is such a line.

Pia turned 33 years old on Saturday, September 24. On her special day, Pia posted a couple of Instagram reels that show the scenes behind her stunning birthday photoshoot. In the said pictorial, the beauty queen dressed and posed as the famous fashion doll, Barbie. Her followers then took to the comment sections to greet Pia and praise her beauty during the shoot.
