GMA Network has released a statement signifying the company's support for Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.

"Nananatiling buo ang suporta at pagpapahalaga ng GMA Network kay Ms. Bea Alonzo bilang isang aktres at aming Kapuso."

As per the statement of GMA, they are very happy at the warm acceptance of the Filipino audience of Start-Up PH, as well as how well Bea played her role.

"Masaya kami sa magandang pagtanggap ng Filipino audience sa Start-Up PH at sa mahusay na pagganap ni Bea sa kaniyang role katambal ni Alden Richards."

The network also thanked the fans and followers of Bea and of GMA for the continued love and support.

Closing its statement, it stated that it is not in the culture of being a Kapuso to destroy anyone and they also do not allow anyone to say false things about their artists and programs.

"Wala sa kultura ng Kapuso ang paninira sa kahit sino man at hindi rin namin pinapayagan na pagsalitaan ng hindi totoo ang aming mga artista at programa. Maliit ang industriya ng show business, hangad namin ang masaya, mabuti, at maayos na pakikitungo sa bawat isa.”

Bea Alonzo or Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom in real life, is a Pinay actress, model and former singer. She was born on October 17, 1987, in the Philippines to a British father and a Filipina mother.

Bea has a new video that has been making rounds on social media. A social media user uploaded it on TikTok and it has received 1.4 million views, as of this writing. Lolit reacted to the interview by saying that she will not be addressing Shirley’s points about her since she does not speak English well.
