Cristy Fermin sa umano'y di pagpapahayag ng suporta kay Toni Gonzaga ng kapwa celebs: "in-unfollow niya e"

Cristy Fermin, during “Cristy Ferminute” on Wednesday, recollected the time when Toni Gonzaga unfollowed her celebrity friends on social media.

This was after Cristy’s co-host, Romel Chika, noticed that Toni allegedly did not receive any supportive messages from her fellow celebrities following her new projects and amidst the bashings she faced recently.

"Alam mo, Nay, napansin ko lang ha, sa mga artistang pinag-uusapan, maraming proyekto, wala ka man lang maramdaman na suporta ng mga kapwa (niya) artista. Hindi naman lahat, pero karamihan, na parang wala talaga siyang (natatanggap na), 'Uy pakatatag ka.' Wala man lang ganyan, dedma talaga," Romel aired.

To which Cristy reacted, “Alam mo, Romel, iniisip ko rin 'yan. Kaya lang hindi mo naaalala 'yung mga unang panahon ng kampanya? Siya naman ang nagtanggal ng mga kaibigan sa kanyang account, diba?”

The veteran showbiz columnist likewise mentioned some IG accounts that can still be seen in Toni’s following list. One of those is Mariel Padilla’s account.

“Iilan lang naman ang itinira niya e, diba? Pamilya niya, si Mariel at ilang malalapit na kaibigan talaga. Kung baga, siya ang nag-alis. Kaya siguro ganu'n, in-unfollow niya e.”

Toni Gonzaga, or Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano in real life, is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015, in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott or Seve, on September 30, 2016.

Ogie Diaz recently discussed Toni Gonzaga's new self-titled talk show, "Toni" on AMBS-2. Due to their discussion, Mama Loi said that netizens recalled the time when Toni unfollowed her celebrity friends. The talent manager then said that Toni perhaps forgot to follow her friends back afterward. He also added, "Siguro, choice naman ni Toni yun eh, syempre Instagram account niya yan."

Earlier, Cristy Fermin said there are people suggesting Toni Gonzaga for the Press Secretary post. This was after director Paul Soriano declined the said position when it was offered to him. During “Cristy Ferminute” on Thursday, Cristy believes that the actress and TV host is qualified. The showbiz columnist, however, thinks that Toni would not be interested since it is not her line of work.
