Joshua Paolo Jensen, the alleged abandoned son of actor-turned-politician, Richard Yap, filed a case for compulsory recognition against the latter at the Regional Trial Court Branch 22 in Cebu City.

The paternal case that the actor is facing right now is already amid the other legal woes that the actor is embroiled in since he also filed a cyber libel case against a political rival in Cebu.

Cebu City Councilor Prisca Niña Mabatid shared public records on her Facebook account, which showed the order of Assisting Judge Van Russel Inopiquez.

The order directed the petitioner, Joshua Jensen, to furnish the court with a copy of the attachments to the Pre-Trial Brief, as well as to the counsel of the respondent.

Along with court records, the councilor also posted photos of the alleged abandoned son, Joshua Jensen.

Richard Yap is a Filipino-Chinese actor, best known for his roles on the teleseryes “My Binondo Girl” and “Be Careful With My Heart.” He is also the owner of Wangfu, which has several branches across the nation.

Richard revealed he spent nearly P500k on hospital bills when he was admitted for COVID-19 infection. The Kapuso actor also said that he experienced nightmares several times while sleeping in his hospital room. The actor is among the first Pinoy celebrities to get infected by the deadly disease. He said he is sharing his experience so people would also learn.

He also shared a shocking revelation in an interview with him recently. The Kapamilya-turned-Kapuso star admitted that he got tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020. “I was one of the first who got it siguro,” the prominent actor even shared. The handsome celebrity likewise recalled the struggles of having COVID-19 when there was still not enough information about it.
