Toni Gonzaga’s talk show on ALLTV (AMBS 2) had an insightful pilot episode featuring her close friend Mariel Padilla. A clip from the said episode has been uploaded on the Toni Gonzaga Studio channel on YouTube.

In the clip, Toni and Mariel revealed that they had a falling out twice – one in 2007 and another in 2010. According to Toni, her sister Alex Gonzaga sided with Mariel during their first falling out.

Alex told Toni that she will always side with Mariel because the latter is a true friend. When Toni and Mariel reconciled, it was also Alex who was the most overjoyed.

“Ang first falling out namin ni Mariel was in 2007. And si Alex talaga, team Mariel yan. All the way, team Mariel siya.

“Ang sabi niya sa akin, ‘Ate, I will always choose Mariel.’ Lagi niya sinasabi yun ‘I will always choose Mariel no matter what happens. Remember what she told you? She’s your best friend.’ Lagi siyang ganun ng ganun…

“Kaya alam mo nung nag-reconcile tayo? Siya yung pinaka masaya. Sabi niya, ‘Sabi na sa’yo kayo parin talagang dalawa,’” Toni shared.

Toni Gonzaga is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015, in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott or Seve, on September 30, 2016.
