Cristy Fermin talked about Jake Zyrus anew and shared her source’s claim about the singer’s life in the USA.

In the latest episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” Cristy said that according to her source, there was one time in Chicago when Jake allegedly passed out due to too much consumption of alcoholic beverages.

“Kwento po ito ng mga kapwa natin Pilipino na nakakapanood kay Charice sa maliliit na mga gigs niya. At sa mga lugar na pinupuntahan niya, laging naglalasing, nagwawarla kapag lasing na at nagsisiaw. At there was one time, sa Chicago ito, kwento ng isang kababayan natin, nag-pass out siya, nawalan ng ulirat sa pagkalasing.”

"Ay ganu'n na kalala?" Romel Chika then reacted.

"Nawalan ng ulirat, ibig sabihin Ate Cristy, parang shutay?" Morly Alinio asked the veteran showbiz columnist.

To which Cirsty replied, “Parang ganu'n. Kaya nga tumawag ang mga naroon ng 911. Alam niyo bang ipinasok na, isinilid na siya sa body bag?”

“At nu'ng dalhin sa ospital, ni-revive lang. At awa ng Diyos, nabuhay siya uli,” Cristy continued, narrating her source’s claim.

“Ano ang kanyang tunay na problema at nagkakaganito ngayon si Jake Zyrus?” Cristy then wondered.

Jake Zyrus is a well-known singer and songwriter in the Philippines. He was previously known as Charice Pempengco, the girl who made international TV appearances because of her singing prowess.

Previously, Cristy shared some stories she heard about Jake, who is formerly known as Charice Pempengco. According to Cristy, there are Filipinos based in the US claiming that they often see the singer drunk. The entertainment columnist’s sources also claim that Jake becomes aggressive when under the influence of alcohol.

Earlier, Cristy Fermin aired her frank thoughts on Jake Zyrus’ relationship with his family. In an episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” Cristy said Jake and his family used each other for their own benefit. According to Cristy, Jake gained people’s sympathy because of his parents’ broken relationship. The veteran showbiz columnist likewise said that the singer was treated as “makinang pambuhay ng kanilang pamilya."
