Kris Aquino admitted to her friend Dindo Balares that the medical treatments she is undergoing in Houston, Texas are very challenging.

The Queen of All Media told her writer-editor friend that her courage is being severely tested due to her health issues.

Kris has revealed weeks ago that she needs to undergo chemotherapy after she was diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases and possibly a fifth one.

According to Dindo, he treats Kris as a part of his family and that is why he always tries to check on her condition.

“Tuloy ang pagpapagamot ni Kris. At tulad ng sinumang sumasailalim sa serye ng masusing medical examinations, may mga panahong mababa ang emosyon. ‘Inuubos na ng Houston ang tapang ko,’ sabi na rin niya nitong huling chat namin.

“Alam na siguro ninyo na hindi siya labas sa pamilya ko. Kaya kung ano ang schedule ng kulit ko sa pag-check sa mga anak ko pagkatapos ng maghapong pag-aasikaso sa mga pananim, ganoon din sa kanya,” Dindo wrote on Facebook.

In her new lengthy post, Kris said she has been diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases. She also revealed she is possibly facing a fifth autoimmune condition and said, “opo, pinakyaw ko na."

Furthermore, Kris shared she would start chemotherapy for her autoimmune conditions. The Queen of All Media also stressed that she does not have cancer as she shared that she would undergo “the safest form of chemotherapy”. The 51-year-old actress likewise opened up that the chemotherapy would make her lose her hair.
