Deniece Cornejo's camp insists that actor and host Vhong Navarro must be transferred to the Taguig City Jail, as per TV Patrol's report.
On the other hand, the camp of Vhong has signified that they will file a petition for bail in order to seek temporary liberty for the actor.
Vhong is currently detained at the NBI Detention Facility after two arrest warrants were issued against him.
The first warrant that was issued was for acts of lasciviousness, to which the actor posted a P36,000 bail.

However, while the actor was at the NBI, another warrant was issued by a separate court for rape.
This time around, it was explicitly stated that it was non-bailable, which was why Vhong was detained at the said facility.
Vhong Navarro is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He is part of the dance group Street boys in the Philippines. He is currently hosting the noontime variety show, It's Showtime.
Streetboys has launched a movement in support of Vhong Navarro after his warrants of arrest for two cases filed by Deniece Cornejo were issued. The group, where Vhong used to belong, used the hashtags #WeStandWithVhongNavarro, #WeBelieveVhong and #JusticeForVhong. They also appealed that justice will be given to the host comedian. Even multi-awarded director Chito Roño also reposted the poster that expressed support for the Showtime host.
Kat Alano took to Twitter and posted a meaningful message after the warrants of arrest were issued against Vhong Navarro. She started her tweet by saying "after 17 years" and that finally there's a glimpse of justice. The beauty queen then asked what if lies were fed by people who had power. Kat also made a separate tweet where she alleged that she was also raped by a celebrity whose name rhymes with "wrong."
