Alex Gonzaga recently expressed support for Julia Barretto’s new movie with Carlo Aquino, ‘Expensive Candy.’

In an Instagram story, Alex shared the poster of the said film and promoted it as it starts its showing in cinemas.

“Now showing!!!” the ‘Tropang LOL’ host penned in the caption.

She likewise congratulated her good friend and wrote, “Congrats Julia B! @juliabarretto.”

Julia then took to her IG stories to repost Alex’s post.

The 25-year-old actress also thanked Alex for the support.

Julia Barretto is a well-known Filipino actress, endorser, and vlogger. She is the daughter of Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla, a former couple. She played as a celebrity judge in the noontime show’s 'Bawal Judgmental' segment on Saturday, September 10. During her fun guesting, the actress showed the Dabarkads her “expensive” dance moves. Julia also gamely danced budots with Maine Mendoza, Maja Salvador, Miles Ocampo and Ryzza Mae Dizon dressed as “mga batang hamog."
