Barbie Imperial, in one of her vlogs addressed the rumor whether she and JM were just "fubus."

The actress categorically admitted that there was emotion involved.

She frankly stated that there was love, that she loved JM, thereby clarifying that her relationship with him was not just akin to "fubu" levels.

"Hindi. No. It wasn’t just fubu. Ako, siyempre, ni-love ko talaga si Em...Di ba nga, sabi ko sa recent vlog ko, kahit hindi ex, minahal pa rin talaga," said Barbie.

Barbie and JM worked together in a 2018 teleserye, "Araw Gabi."

Aside from answering issues about JM, Barbie also addressed issue on whether she's dating a politician.

The actress said that she is not. The name Mico Clavano came up but she expressly stated that they are not dating.
