Cristy Fermin, during Cristy Ferminute’s episode aired on Wednesday, talked about Markus Paterson’s controversial tweet.

In the said tweet, the actor stressed that he never has and will never lay his hands on a woman since his parents raised him right.

This prompted Cristy to recollect Janella Salvador’s February 2022 interview with Ogie Diaz, where she opened up about her trauma of being around drunk people.

“Alam mo, nag-ugat ito dahil kay Janella din kasi nanggaling, du'n sa panayam sa kanya ng ating kasamang si Ogie Diaz, na parang nagkakaroon na siya ng trauma sa mga lasing. 'Yun 'yun e, diba?” said Cristy.

"Eto rin ba ang katangian ni Markus, Nay, lashenggero, ganu'n ba 'to?” Romel asked Cristy.

To which the veteran showbiz columnist responded, “Totoo naman kasi na siya'y umiinom.”

“Ito ngang mga nakakakilala kay Markus ay nagsasabi, natural daw siya ay talagang mahilig na noon pa man sa inuming nakalalasing na nakakapagpalimot sa sarili dahil siya nga ay taga-Somerset, England. Alam mo naman sa mga bansang malalamig, mga bata pa lang ay talagang umiinom na sila para pampainit ng kanilang katawan. 'Yun ang pagtatanggol kay Markus,” Cristy continued.

She further added, “Pero hindi naman natin maiaalis kay Janella ang pagsasabi na nakaka-traumatize naman talaga kapag ang karelasyon mo ay lasing.”
