Kris Aquino, who is currently getting treatment in the United States, revealed that she would start chemotherapy for her autoimmune conditions.

In the said post, the Queen of All Media expressed being grateful to be, “blessed to have the means for us to move to another state, and have more tests done and go to other specialists. specialists; and finally start my immunosuppressant therapy.”

She then opened up about undergoing a form of chemotherapy that would make her lose her hair.

“I was warned that the safest form of chemotherapy (i don’t have cancer) that can be used for my autoimmune conditions will make me lose my hair.”

The celebrity mom further said, “Hair will eventually grow back but permanently damaged organs won’t."

Kris Aquino, in the process of searching for the correct treatment, was diagnosed with more autoimmune diseases. The older sister of Kris, Ballsy Aquino, was the one who revealed the condition of the Queen of All Media during a Zoom interview with non-governmental organization Banyuhay Aotearoa on August 20. Ballsy said that her sister is still in high spirits though and she also has another set of doctors who will take charge further of her treatments.

In her new lengthy post, Kris then clarified that she has been diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases. She also revealed she is possibly facing a fifth autoimmune condition and said, “opo, pinakyaw ko na."
