RR Enriquez, nagpakaprangka ukol sa marriage nang makita ang BI ukol sa married showbiz couple na nag-break

RR Enriquez shared her honest thoughts on a blind item about a married celebrity couple who had allegedly parted ways.

In a lengthy social media post, RR said that many couples are breaking up despite being married.

“Ito lang ang masasabi ko, grabe ang daming mag asawa ang naghihiwalay ngayon.. Yung iba months lang or wala pa one year hiwalay na.”

“Parang akala mo nakipag break lang sa mga boyfriend at girlfriends nila.”

The former “Wowowee” dancer and host also addressed messages asking her why she and Jayjay Helterbrand have not decided to get married yet.

“Tapos yung iba jan imimessage pa ako at sarcastic pa bakit hindi daw kami nagpapakasal ng jowa ko na mukhang palaka or bakit hindi daw ako pinapakasalan.”

She then went on to air her frank opinion on marriage.

“Uy minsan hindi lang lalaki ang nag di decide sa relasyon whether they like to get married or not. If they want to have kids or not… Dapat both parties agreed with that”

“And I’m always a firm believer that marriage shouldn’t be forced and hindi dapat nakikisabay lang sa uso para lang masabi pinakasalan ka.. Tapos ending hiniwalayan ka din or nagchi cheat sayo ang asawa mo while you’re still married.”

She likewise expressed that someone should be ready to be selfless and willing to submit and decide with the partner “as one.”

RR Enriquez rose to popularity after appearing on the variety and game program Wowowee as one of the dancers. Along with Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion, RR became one of the show's hosts. She appeared in the ABS-CBN comedy show Banana Split alongside Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang, among others. RR has been in a romantic relationship with former PBA superstar Jayjay Helterbrand for 13 years now.

RR Enriquez published on her YouTube channel her first-ever “Sawsawera” vlog and once again talked about Jane de Leon's portrayal of Darna. At one point in the vlog, RR lauded Jane for appreciating her constructive criticisms. It can be recalled that Jane commented “Thank you!” in RR’s post following the Kapamilya actress’ first transformation as Darna.

Jayjay Helterbrand also took to his Instagram account to promote RR Enriquez’s new show on YouTube. In his post, the professional basketball jokingly told his girlfriend, “Bagay sayo ‘to kasi kulang ka sa pansin and daldal mo."
