Ogie Diaz sa pagbabalik GMA umano ni Boy Abunda: "maiintindihan ng lahat kung bakit andon si Kuya Boy"

Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi recently discussed unconfirmed news that Boy Abunda would transfer to GMA Network.

In the newest ‘Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update’ episode, Ogie and Mama Loi cited some reports about the King of Talk’s return to national television.

"Si Tito Boy Abunda, mukhang lilipat na. Aalis na ng ABS-CBN, diba?" Mama Loi said.

“Kasi originally doon naman talaga siya sa Kapuso. Bumabalik lamang siya. Kasi kung meron pa rin namang prangkisa ang ABS-CBN, baka isyu 'yan. Pero ngayon, maiintindihan ng lahat kung bakit andon si Kuya Boy,” Ogie then reacted.

“At sabi sa balita ay sa last quarter nitong taong 2022 ang pagsabak uli sa telebisyon sa Kapuso network si Kuya Boy Abunda,” the talent manager also aired.

However, Ogie advised everyone to still wait for Boy’s confirmation.

“Pero siyempre, importante pa rin Loi ah, marinig natin straight from the horse's mouth. Hintayin nating manggaling mismo kay Kuya Boy kung totoong siya ay magiging Kapuso na.”

Furthermore, Ogie expressed, “Magandang ano 'yon, dahil si Kuya Boy ay totoo namang pang-TV. Itong kanyang pagba-vlog, e siyempre ito 'yung uso, so sumali na rin si Kuya Boy.”

Boy Abunda is one of the most prominent celebrities in the Philippines. He is dubbed as the “King of Talk” because of his excellence in interviewing people.

A few years ago, Boy was asked on his show called “The Bottomline” about the GMA-7 artists that he wants to interview if he will be given a chance. One of the names that the prominent host mentioned was Jessica Soho, a veteran broadcast-journalist in the Kapuso network. The “King of Talk” also revealed the questions that he might ask a friend if the interview that he wishes will turn into reality.

Last year, Boy Abunda appeared on a digital billboard in Times Square. The billboard on the commercial intersection in New York showed him promoting a sustainable and ethical fashion brand. The ad also showcased a “Philippine-made product that brings alive the story of ancient Filipino craftsmanship”. The King of Talk, on the other hand, felt elated seeing the said billboard personally.
