Maine Mendoza, in an Instagram post, indicated that until now, she still can’t believe that she’s engaged to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

The actor proposed to Maine on July 29 and it has been a month since the actress said “yes” to her fiancé’s proposal.

In a video posted by the actress, it showed again the two reliving the days leading to the big event.

Arjo said that the day he chose to propose was also the same day he met her four years before.

The actor-politician also said that he was really careful not to bring Maine to the place where he plans to propose because he wants to make the day really special for her.

As for Maine, she said at the time that although she already said yes, it seemed that everything haven’t sunk in yet.

“To be honest it has really not sunk in yet. Parang i'm still on Cloud 9. Sobrang bilis ng pangyayari. It all happened so fast but we're here now,” Maine said in the video.

Fast forward today, in her caption the actress admitted that being engaged still feels surreal and indicated she’s still on Cloud 9.

In another post, Arjo and Maine melted the hearts of netizens with the official SDE of Arjo's grand proposal, which the actress posted on her IG account. Previously, the couple made headlines back in July when they confirmed their engagement. In the viral video, netizens turned emotional upon watching Arjo cry as he gave his speech for Maine.
