Exclusive: Ruffa Gutierrez is open to co-parenting with ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas

Ruffa Gutierrez spoke to KAMI about her realizations after her daughters Lorin and Venice had a reunion with their father, Yilmaz Bektas – Ruffa’s former husband.

According to Ruffa, she realized that it is never too late to start a new chapter in life and that she has become open to the concept of co-parenting her daughters with Yilmaz.

Nevertheless, Ruffa admitted that the concept of co-parenting their daughters without romantic love between her and Yilmaz is challenging for her.

The actress said that despite the difficulty of the situation, she is open to it for the sake of her children.

“I realized that it’s never too late to start a new beginning. That you can start fresh. The biggest realization for me is to be open to the concept of co-parenting.

“Can we have a healthy relationship as parents to our daughters without the romantic love between us? How does that work? I am so used to taking care of the girls on my own. It will be challenging but I welcome the concept,” Ruffa told KAMI.

Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez is a beauty queen, actress, and model from the Philippines. She is the daughter of celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She was the second runner-up in Miss World 1993 pageant. She has two children, Lorin Gabriella and Venice, with her former husband, Yilmaz Bektas.

Ruffa recently talked about her daughters, Lorin and Venice on 'It's Showtime.' It is known that her kids are currently in Istanbul to spend time with their dad, Yilmaz Bektas. The celebrity mom also shared that her daughters were asking her if they could extend their vacation. Then, Ruffa recounted that Yilmaz jokingly told her that she would see her daughters after 15 years just like he did.

Ruffa also took to Instagram and shared the emotional moment that Yilmaz Bektas bid goodbye to his daughters, Lorin and Venice. The actress shared the moment when her daughters were at the airport with their father. Lorin and Venice have stayed with Yilmaz for 12 days and their short but meaningful vacation has come to an end. Ruffa said that she can't wait for her daughters to tell her of their adventures.
