In a recent Instagram post, Manay Lolit said that even her ailment has become akin to a TV series or “teleserye.”

“Talagang parang teleserye na ang pagkaka sakit ko Salve. Pati nga ang favorite dog ko na si Jokjok celebrity na dahil kasali na siya sa mga comments,” Manay Lolit said.

“Katawa dahil para bang national concern na ang mga pangyayari sa amin ni Jokjok,” she added.

The veteran showbiz columnist then expressed her opinion that perhaps people have become so bored that they have started to meddle with the affairs of others.

“Naku talagang bored na ang tao, wala ng magawa kaya pati ibang tao meron na silang pakialam,” she said.

Manay Lolit then said that as long as the comments written for her are not that harsh, it’s fine with her.

“Huwag lang sobrang harsh Ok lang, pero iyon sobra na, siyempre wah ko feel. Anuman desisyon ko sa buhay ko, akin iyon, walang pakialam ang iba,” the veteran columnist said.

She then said that everyone have their own lives and what’s important is no one crosses the line.

According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.

Recently, she also posted on Instagram that perhaps she might have done something good in her lifetime. She expressed this belief after receiving from many people offers of help with her present health condition. The veteran showbiz columnist said that it’s been a month since she was first diagnosed with her ailment but because of help pouring in, her personal health budget remained untouched. Manay Lolit said she didn’t expect many people would give her that kind of support.

She also opened up about her fellow dialysis patients at a hospital. She feels frustrated over going to the hospital twice a week during the morning for her four-hour dialysis treatment. On the other hand, her fellow patients seem to be happy and positive despite their situation. The showbiz reporter now wants to adopt her fellow patients’ positive attitude regarding their treatment.
