Chito Miranda announced the passing of his father, Alfonso P. Miranda, who died at the age of 77.

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman posted a photo of his father, and beside it, sitting on a beautiful bed of flowers was the precious marble urn, where the name of his father, including the date of birth and the day of his passing were written.

In the caption, Chito wrote simple words for his father.

He then addressed their family and friends and sought for understanding, saying that they decided to keep everything simple, and it was only for the immediate family.

He then added that prayers for them will be enough.

Chito Miranda is a famous music artist and social media star in the Philippines. He is the frontman of the iconic Filipino band, Parokya Ni Edgar. Chito is married to actress Neri Naig and they have two children.

Chito appeared to support the decision of his wife as he posted the details of the unit on his own social media page. He also included features of the condo unit, which includes a wide veranda and comes with a parking spot right below the property. The Parokya ni Edgar frontman did not mention when the unit was bought or whether Neri was the first owner.
