On TikTok, she showed her "lucky charms," which included a rosary, a crucifix, and small image of the Sto. Niño.

Aside from these three, she also had with her a photo of her Nanay Bireng.

She admitted often asking her Nanay to whisper a prayer to Jesus.

Hipon Girl said that she even asked her Nanay Bireng to tell Jesus to grant her a crown, a GMA News reported.

For Hipon, the prayers worked.

It can be recalled that she immediately thanked Jesus for whatever she reached in the pageant, and even offered her bouquet.

Herlene Nicole Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin”. She later became a host on the said program but had to leave it due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
