Sheryl Cruz has recently taken to social media to pen her birthday message for her late aunt Susan Roces.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, July 28, the actress remembered Susan, who would have been 81 years old by now.

In her heartfelt message, Sheryl expressed appreciation for all the Queen of Philippine Movies has done for her.

Sheryl Rose Anna Marie Sonora Cruz, a.k.a. Sheryl Cruz, is a Filipina actress and singer. She is known for her iconic role in "Sinasamba Kita". Sheryl is the daughter of Ricky Belmonte and Rosemarie Sonora, sister of Susan Roces.

A few months ago, Sheryl Cruz posted on social media her own video-recorded eulogy for her late aunt Susan Roces. Cristy Fermin then reacted to the said eulogy. Nay Cristy noticed that Sheryl did not mention Sen. Grace Poe in the speech. This prompted Cristy to recall Sheryl’s issue with Grace and recollected the time when Sheryl questioned Sen. Grace Poe’s decision to run for the presidency in the 2016 polls.

Sheryl was also the subject of Lolit Solis’ commentary on social media a few months ago. The veteran entertainment columnist also recollected the time when Sheryl was not seen at her father Ricky Belmonte’s wake back in 2001.
