Judy Ann Santos shared on a recent episode of the ABS-CBN talk show “Magandang Buhay” why she stopped making cooking vlogs on YouTube.

According to Judy Ann, she had a hard time coming up with recipes to show in her vlogs because of the rising prices of ingredients.
She thought that her viewers might get turned off seeing her use expensive ingredients for her recipes.
“Ang hirap kasing mag-isip ng mga episodes especially kung ang pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin ay napakalala.

“Ayokong hindi maka-relate yung viewers sa kung anumang lutuin ang gagawin ko kasi parang napaka-unfair naman.
“Ayoko lang na parang masabihan ako na, ‘luto ka nang luto, di naman namin magagawa ‘yan,’” Juday said.
On Facebook, netizens were shocked when Pebbles Cunanan – a former contestant on Judy Ann’s show MasterChef Pinoy Edition – bashed the actress’ statement.
Pebbles argued that Judy Ann should just choose cheaper ingredients for her recipes.
According to Pebbles, Juday is having a difficult time choosing cheaper ingredients because she graduated from an expensive culinary school.
Furthermore, Pebbles – a supporter of the current administration – took a swipe at Juday by asking if she can make “Leni’s lugaw” delicious using inexpensive ingredients.
Pebbles stated that it is normal for prices to go up and what is not normal is for a chef to not know about inexpensive ingredients.
“Diskarte ghorl….mag-isip ka ng mga puede mong ipalit na ingredients juicemio….palibhasa sa mamahaling culinary school nag-aral eh….
“Juday wag lang mag-base sa mga natutuhan sa culinary school. Ang pagtaas ng mga bilihin normal yan ang hindi normal yung CHEF ka tapos hindi mo alam dumiskarte ng mga puede mong gamiting ingredients sa pagluluto.
“Paano kung mumurahing ingredients ang gagamitin mo, mapapasarap mo kaya yung lugaw ni Leni…chozzzz
“Tabehhhhh…..turuan kita…bet mo….aaay magaling ako magluto nohhh,” Pebbles posted.
Judy Ann Santos is a famous actress and host in the Philippines who appeared in popular teleseryes such as “Mara Clara,” “Basta’t Kasama Kita,” and “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes.” She tied the knot with Ryan Agoncillo back on April 28, 2009. They have three children – Yohan, Lucho and Luna.
