Janine Berdin, 20, has responded to DJ Loonyo's callout post about her viral cover photo where she used the TikToker's 'airport' meme.

Previously, on July 13, Wednesday, KAMI learned that DJ Loonyo had posted his conversation with Janine about the picture.

Based on their conversation, Janine clarified that she did not mean any harm and that it was "like poking fun" only.

However, after DJ Loonyo had posted their conversation on his Instagram account, Janine followed suit.

On her Instagram account, @janineberdin, the Filipina singer-songwriter reposted DJ Loonyo's screenshot and penned her response.

"Oh kuya, if you really wanna talk about it publicly... I really wanna know how you understood the meme. I just thought it was a petition to just literally change the airport name to you. It's satire. It's poking fun. It's random," Janine began.

According to the singer, no one would actually take her post seriously. She even told DJ Loonyo that her name is being used to poke fun as well.

Halfway through her message, Janine said that these are the kinds of stuff they have to deal with when they're a public figures.

"No one would actually take it seriously. People use my name to poke fun all the time as well. Hell, people talk sh*t and laugh at me as well. I'm not saying that's what the meme was doing kasi it wasn't meant to be degrading at all... but yeah! It's what comes along when you're a public figure. No big! Smile po kayo!" Janine wrote.
