Pokwang, in a recent post on Twitter, called out those who were trying to sell her Christmas decorations even though it’s only the month of July.

Without giving any names, the comedienne pointed out that it’s too early for her to buy such decors.

“Teka lang naman teh! July palang po at inaalok na ako ng mga Christmas decorations hahahahaaa,” Pokwang wrote in her tweet.

She asked them to wait for the time when she might want to buy decorations.

Pokwang then wondered on the same tweet why those trying to sell her decors appeared to be in a rush.

“Wait lang!!! Madaling madali???” Pokwang tweeted.

Netizens, on the other hand, had a field day with the post of Pokwang.

Many of them posted hilarious replies to her tweet.

“Discounted po ba? Haha,” said one netizen, while another reminded Pokwang prices for such items might go up by September.

Still, another netizen said the seller might be thinking in advance.

“Advance po magisip.. Pasko na agad.. Hahahahahha,” the netizen said.

For a very long time, Christmas season in the Philippines usually begins during “ber” months, or in September, and often ends in January.

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. She is a Kakampink and has been very vocal in supporting former VP Leni Robredo.

Recently, Pokwang took to the comments section of her IG account and responded to a basher. The basher said that what happened to Pokwang was "karma" and even said that it is the reason why the comedienne is bitter now. Pokwang responded to the basher and said that it was not karma, rather God only paved the path towards a better partner. She also asked the basher that if the basher experiences death among family members, would she call it karma immediately.

The comedienne, in a previous post, has admitted that she and her partner of eight years, Lee O'Brian, have already separated. Pokwang said that it has indeed been seven months but they are co-parenting Malia and they are all at peace. Many celebrities expressed their support for the comedienne and gave her virtual hugs. Some commended the strength and the fortitude that Pokie has shown amid all the things that happened to her and her relationship.
