Ruffa Gutierrez considers the divorce bill filed by actor-turned legislator Sen. Robin Padilla as the best news.

It isn’t clear why Ruffa is all for a divorce law in the Philippines, though it can be recalled that she also filed to have her marriage with Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas dissolved through divorce.

In a post on Twitter, the actress made her feelings known as regards the bill reportedly filed by the newbie legislator.

“Best news ever!! #YesToDivorce,” Ruffa wrote in her tweet.

The bill lists down several grounds for the valid dissolution of marriage through divorce.

In a news article published by Maharlika TV, among the grounds stated in the bill filed by Sen. Padilla are irreconcilable differences, incapacity of either spouse to perform essential marital obligations, having a child with another person, and VAWC conviction.

According to business and news publication The Economist, the Philippines, apart from Vatican City, is the only country in the world without a divorce law

Recently, the actress took to Twitter and expressed how she was not able to sleep well thinking about an offer. Based on her tweet the offer was about having a baby. She did not name the person who made the offer but referred to the offerer as a male since he said it using "his offer." Ruffa Gutierrez is rumored to be in a relationship with Herbert Bautista.

Another of her post on social media also gained a lot of good vibes from her followers. In her post, she bid everyone goodnight and indicated that she’s very excited about having lunch with the whole family the following day. She made the post amid her online spat with Representative Rowena Guanzon who posted some claims that involved Ruffa. The actress had already denied the partylist representative’s claims and at the same time, hinted that she’s mulling legal action.
