Andrea Brillantes, 19, recently opened up about the struggles she faced when she became a breadwinner at the age of 10 years old.

In her interview with Karen Davila, KAMI learned that the actress talked about how she lost her childhood.

She also mentioned sacrificing a lot of things, during the interview, because she had to prioritize her family first.

According to Andrea, when she was just a kid, and had entered the world of showbiz, she shouldered everything back then.

"Pagkain, gamit, tax, electricity... Lahat po, lahat sa akin noon. Yung struggle ko dati, since bata sila, hindi pa nila alam kung gaano kahirap kumita ng pera. Ako kasi, bata pa lang ako, namulat na ako na ang hirap hirap kumita ng pera."

The 19-year-old actress then admitted that she feels as if she lost her childhood due to the sacrifices she made.

"Sobrang nawalan po ako ng childhood dahil ang dami kong sinacrifice. May mga dream school ako, as in gusto ko talagang school na kaya ko naman pero kapag pumasok ako sa school na iyon, magugutom kami, so isa-sacrifice ko yung ganyan."

Meanwhile, Andrea received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Vice President Leni Robredo. Not only did she receive flowers but also got some fruits and a handwritten letter from the VP. The 19-year-old Kapamilya actress then took this to Instagram and shared some pictures of the gifts she received.
