The actress posted this message on her Instagram account on the day of the Muslim remembrance of Eid al-Adha and amid the “kasambahay” issue that Representative Rowena Guanzon brought to light.

She also said that one of the most beautiful things about life is that a person can always change and grow in their quest to become better.

“The beautiful thing about life is that you can always change, grow and get better,” Ruffa wrote in her IG post.

The actress explained that a person is never defined by his or her past, and that any individual is not a representation of the mistakes he or she previously committed.

“You aren’t defined by your past. You aren’t your mistakes,” Ruffa further wrote.

Using the Turkish language, she greeted the Muslim world on one of the most important days in their religious calendar, and at the same time, called on everyone to spread peace and love.

Ruffa Gutierrez took to Twitter and denied allegations that there were two house helpers who were thrown out of the house. She said that she did not fire anyone and that the two helpers wanted to leave. Amid all these, Ruffa also emphasized that she has always been very generous with those whom she loves and those whom she has worked with. She said that most of her helpers have been with her for 13 to 35 years and considers them as family.

Cong. Rowena Guanzon took to Twitter and expressed her thoughts about Ruffa Gutierrez. She said that the actress must learn to say "Congresswoman" and followed it with a laugh. The congresswoman also added that the actress must call her cong or she will call her something else. In one of the tweets of Ruffa, where she responded to the inquiry of Guanzon about the house helpers, she addressed the congresswoman as "Ms. Guanzon."
