Sunshine Garcia on married couples going through conflicts: “Mag-usap mabuti”

Sunshine Garcia, the wife of new Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, was asked by KAMI about her advice for couples going through conflicts and misunderstandings.

The former Sexbomb dancer said that open communication is the key to resolving conflicts in a relationship.

She also advised couples – especially those with children already – to go through marriage counseling if they are having trouble fixing their issues. However, Sunshine said that a partner who makes mistakes should avoid making the same errors in the future.

Furthermore, Sunshine believes that showing compassion and understanding when your partner makes mistakes can help heal emotional wounds.

“Minsan kasi madaling mag advice lalo na wala tayo sa posisyon nila or if ever man nangyari na din sa atin yung nangyari sa kanila magkakaiba naman tayo ng desisyon na ginagawa.

“Siguro sa akin if need mag counseling gawin, mag usap ng mabuti.

“Kasi now naisip ko din sa dami ng naghihiwalay ibang level na pag mag asawa na kayo lalo na may mga batang involved kailangan meron room sa marriage nyo ang pagkakamali kasi parehas naman kayong hindi magiging perfect.

“The moment na naging kayo at nagpakasal kayo pati flaws nyan tinanggap mo, may iba nagbabago may iba naman na nag stay sa ganun ugali so kailangan may room for mistakes talaga.

“Pero kung talagang paulit ulit na lang need na talaga mag usap ng mabuti kung dapat na maghiwalay (ito kasi minsan ok kung wala pa kayong anak) pero ibang usapan kasi pag may mga bata,” Sunshine told KAMI.

Lyn Garcia-Castro, popularly known as Sunshine Garcia is a Filipina dancer and actress. She is a former member of the dance group, SexBomb Girls from 2002 to 2013. She also appeared in several television series such as Encantandia, Magic Kamison, and Daisy Siete. She married actor Alex Castro, who is now the vice governor in Bulacan, on March 2, 2019.

In July 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting their second child. They both shared their picture which showed the celebrity mom's growing baby bump. The actress and dancer expressed how excited she is to welcome her new baby while Alex revealed that they still don't know what the gender of the baby is. Celebrities and netizens congratulated the couple on their newest addition to their growing family. She gave birth to the baby last November.
