When asked whether it is true that celebrities are more prone to cheating due to the showbiz lifestyle, Matet replied that there are temptations for both celebrities and ordinary people.
However, she believes that what will determine if a person will be tempted is the level of faithfulness he or she has toward his or her partner.
“It can happen naman sa normal na tao at artista. Depende na lang sa faithfulness ng isa’t isa,” she told KAMI.
She also gave a piece of advice for couples, telling them to avoid places, people and situations where temptations can arise.
“Importante lang siguro din not to put yourself sa mga alanganing sitwasyon na pwede ka ma-tempt. It’s the smart thing to do,” Matet shared.
Matet de Leon is a Filipina actress. She is one of the four adopted children of Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon, along with fellow actress Lotlot de Leon. Matet has been married to Mickey Estrada for almost two decades now.
Lotlot was one of those who defended Ian after his revelation about their mother. She said that people should not easily jump to conclusions without first knowing all the sides of the story.
Matet also reacted to the issue and messaged the ‘Noranians’ about the bullying they feel from them. She took a swipe at them, saying that Nora’s children feel bullied by her fans. In her post, she defended her adoptive brother Ian de Leon, who was bashed by Noranians. Ian’s sister posted that it is delusional to think that a person is disrespectful for not allowing himself to be disrespected.
