The singer-songwriter and producer, however, did not reveal the origin of such rumors.
“I have read some tweets about my wife and I having marital problems,” Ogie wrote in his tweet.
He also revealed why such rumors can’t be true.
“For the record, wifey and I are so much in love and there has not been a day where that love we have for each other has diminished,” he further wrote.
A netizen then replied to this particular tweet, doubting the statement of Ogie.
“If people explain in a social media that the relationship has no problem and the love never deminished? It means the opposite. So yeah they do have a problem imho,” the netizen replied to the tweet of Ogie.
Ogie, instead of slamming the reply of the netizen, opted to give a classy reply.
“God bless you always,” the singer-composer tweeted.
Regine and Ogie got married on December 22, 2010 and are scheduled to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary.
Ogie Alcasid is an actor, comedian, singer and television host in the Philippines. He previously worked for GMA-7. He is currently a Kapamilya celebrity and a regular performer on ASAP Natin'To. Regine Velasquez, his wife, is also a mainstay on the mentioned Sunday noontime variety program. Ogie is now a regular host on “It’s Showtime.”
Previously, Ogie also gave a classy reply to a netizen who took pity on the singer-composer as he was reduced to being a “husband of Regine.” The singer and Regine Velasquez tied the knot on December 22, 2010 at a resort in Nasugbu, Batangas. It is not clear what the netizen meant with the remark about Ogie being a letdown. The singer-composer also said why he does not take pity on himself at being reduced to Regine’s husband.
