Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan’s youngest daughter, Miel Pangilinan, is currently making headlines after she revealed in a post that she is an LGBTQ+ community member.

“Laman na po ito ng lahat ng mga umpukan," Cristy said in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute.
"Dahil si Mariel Daniella Sofia, ang pangalawang anak po nina Sen. Kiko Pangilinan at Megastar Sharon Cuneta ay naglantad na po ng kanyang tunay na kasarian,”
“Si Miel po, sinamantala po niya itong buwan na ito, ang Pride Month, isa pong okasyon na ipinagdiriwang ng mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA community bilang kanilang buwan. At sinabi na nga po ni Miel, 17 anyos, siya po ay miyembro nito sa pagwawagayway niya ng bandera ng grupo.”
Nanay Cristy then lauded Miel for being true to herself.
The entertainment columnist stressed, “Ako, sumasaludo ako kay Miel.”
“Alam mo, bahagi ng buhay ang kalayaan. At ano lang po ba ang makakapagpalaya sa atin kundi ang katotohanan. Sumasaludo ako dito kay Miel,” she added.

Sharon Cuneta, also known as The Megastar, is a famous Filipina actress, singer, host and endorser. She is the wife of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and the mother of actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion, whose father is actor Gabby Concepcion.
Her daughter Miel Pangilinan recently revealed that she is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She experienced catharsis and emotional freedom after coming out of the closet. Sharon’s daughter experienced sleepless nights for many years because of her worries about her identity. However, she was able to overcome those anxieties and learn how to celebrate her identity.
Her siblings KC Concepcion and Frankie Pangilinan expressed their love and support for Miel after her revelation. Celebrities such as Judy Ann Santos, Kiana Valenciano, and Sam Cruz also commented on Miel’s post.
