Donita Rose, 47, was recently interviewed by Ogie Diaz, whom she recently met up with during the latter's much-needed vacation to America with his family.
In Ogie's latest 'Showbiz Update' vlog, KAMI learned that he frankly asked Donita about what happened to her and her ex-husband, Eric Villarama.
The former actress began by sharing that she and Eric have been separated for 8 years and that she recalled not asking God for a partner up until February.

Eventually, her path crossed with Felson Palad, to whom she is now currently engaged with, much to her happiness.

When asked if she and Eric remained friends, Donita revealed that Eric doesn't want to be friends with her.
"Ayaw niya eh. Actually, pwede kong sabihin ito, nung medyo naging serious na kami ni Felson. I'm not saying this to make him look bad or make me look good or whatever. Sinabi ko sa kanya na, 'You know, I met somebody and I'm hoping na once and for all na pwede tayong magkapatawaran and we could be friends.'"
Upon hearing this, Ogie asked the former actress why Eric does not want to be friends anymore after the divorce.
Donita then explained that Eric thinks she ruined his image and that she only made her image look good, not his.
"Sinira ko raw yung pangalan niya, tapos pag nagpapa-interview daw ako, parang pinapaganda ko lang yung sarili ko and pinapapangit ko yung image niya. I told him na hindi sadya yun if I did do it, and that I didn't do it, humihingi ako ng patawad sa kanya."
At one point, Donita recalled how people knew Eric left her for someone else, adding that the latter even wants her to do a public apology.
In the video, Donita added, "People know that he left me for somebody else." Viewers of Ogie's vlog were also stunned when she said, "He wants me to give a public apology."
The former actress then clarified that she never intended to do that since it was him who first posted a selfie he took with the other woman.
"Nagkalat yung balita na meron siyang iba dahil meron siyang pinost sa social media niya na kasama yung babae tapos nakalagay dun #HappierNow."
Nevertheless, Donita lauded Eric for being a good father to their son, Joshua Paul Villarama.
