Janno Gibbs, in a recent post on his IG Stories, slammed a netizen who appeared to have mocked his stand about Sen. Leila De Lima.

Earlier, the said netizen asked the singer-actor if he truly knew the truth about the circumstances surrounding Sen. De Lima.
It appears that the singer-actor may have asked the same netizen if he has any knowledge about what’s happening with the case of the detained legislator.
“I dont know because I dont have to know. I'm not the supreme court and I'm not a member of the defense of any of the witnesses and De Lima. Do you know the truth Mr. Gibbs!” the netizen asked.

Janno then replied that he’s just asking the netizen about his opinion on the three witnesses who recently recanted their testimonies against Sen. De Lima.
“I'm asking your opinion on the 3 witnesses saying they only spoke against De Lima because they were threatened,” the singer-actor said.
He then told the netizen one doesn’t have to have a law degree to understand what happened.
“You dont need a law degree to process that,” he said.
The singer-actor then asked the netizen if he really doesn’t know or just don’t care about what the truth is.
“Is it you dont know or you dont care?” Janno said.
It’s not clear if the netizen made another retort to the singer-actor’s statement.
Janno Gibbs is a Filipino singer-songwriter, actor, and comedian. He was a host of various GMA-7 shows before such as "Eat Bulaga" and "Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5?". Janno is the son of veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez. His wife is actress Bing Loyzaga and they have two daughters named Alyssa and Gabby.
During the election campaign season, Janno was among the celebrities who graced Vice President Leni Robredo’s NCR grand birthday rally in Pasay. During the event, Janno serenaded the presidential aspirant. He posted on Instagram a video showing him singing “Binibini” originally sang by The Rainmakers. In the caption, the singer admitted that “kinilig ako” while singing for VP Leni Janno Gibbs took part in Vice President Leni Robredo’s NCR grand birthday rally.
Recently, the singer-actor tagged Cebu Pacific Air, Inc. and Bureau of Immigration in a post. He called out the said airline and the said agency for allegedly mistreating his child. The 52-year-old singer-actor even warned them “Hindi ko palalampasin ito.” Janno, however, opted not to publicize more details about the alleged incident.
