Angel Locsin recently penned an optimistic post days after the national polls.
In her lengthy post on social media, Angel took the time to praise Vice President Leni Robredo for showing grace despite her defeat in the presidential race.
“Thank you VP Leni for showing grace in defeat last night. A true leader indeed. Reminding us na isa sa mga ipinaglaban natin ay ang demokrasya. Magkaiba man tayo ng stand, we should honor democracy and listen to the majority bilang ka-isang bansa.”

The actress and philanthropist also said that she is now rooting for the presumptive national leaders.
“For our country’s sake, I’m rooting for our presumptive president, vice president, & senators. I’m hoping they’ll do better than our past leaders. I am a Filipino citizen hoping to be proven wrong. Masasabi ko hong ikakasaya ko ho kung mali kami at tama kayo.”
“I understand na minsan mahirap, kaya kapag tingin ninyong kaya nyo na, ituloy ang 'radikal na pagmamahal'. Otherwise, hanggang slogan lang pala tayo kung ganun,” she also penned.

Angelica Locsin Colmenares-Arce, better known as Angel Locsin, is a Pinay TV and film actress, philanthropist, film producer, commercial model, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. She rose to fame after portraying the role of Alwina in the TV series Mulawin, and later on as the superheroine Darna. Angel was with GMA Network up to 2007 until she moved to rival ABS-CBN.
