Skusta Clee, or Daryl Ruiz, 26, was recently interviewed where he shared the realizations he's had about love and before getting into a relationship.

KAMI learned that among the realizations the rapper-singer had was about the importance of loving yourself first before loving someone else.

He also talked about the importance of understanding your partner and one another and emphasized how it plays a crucial role in a relationship.

According to Skusta Clee, if one is not true to themselves, if one does not study themselves first, that is where the problem begins.

In his viral interview with News 5, Skusta Clee said that it does not apply to one person only as well.

"Hindi ka naging totoo sa sarili mo. Hindi mo muna inaral yung sarili mo, hindi niyo muna inaral yung isa't isa kasi dun nagsisimula ang lahat, lalo na kapag hindi kayo nagkakaintindihan. Hindi lang sa isang tao yun. Dapat kasi kapag partner, feeling ko ganun, dapat kahit anong mangyari, magkakaintindihan kayo. Pero sa tingin ko, kung ano yung kasalanan, pagdating sa relasyon, siguro yung kulang ka sa pag-iintindi sa partner mo."

When asked what it is that he learned from his past relationships that he is currently carrying in his life, Skusta Clee said that he learned how to study himself first.

"Ako, wala naman talaga akong sobrang dala-dala ngayon, like natutunan kong aralin yung sarili ko. Like, kung ano yung mga bagay na gusto ko, kung ano yung mga bagay na ayaw ko, mga bagay na takot ako, ano yung mga bagay na hindi ako takot. Ano ba yung pangarap ko, ano ba talaga yung gusto ko para sa sarili ko. Sino ba talaga yung tunay para sa akin? Yun, napansin ko silang lahat. Maraming marami akong realizations."

Halfway through the interview, Skusta Clee even emphasized that a person should always learn how to love themselves first.

"Ngayon, mas natutunan kong mahalin yung sarili ko. Kailangan mo talaga munang mahalin ang sarili mo kasi hindi ka matututong magmahal ng iba kung hindi mo mamahalin yung sarili mo."

As previously reported by KAMI, Skusta Clee took to Instagram to post yet another sweet message for his daughter. Previously, Zebbiana, his daughter with Zeinab Harake, turned one year old on April 28. On his Instagram story, the rapper-singer posted a screenshot of his phone's lock screen. He then included a short heartfelt message to his baby girl.

Meanwhile, Skusta Clee took to his Instagram stories and stated a "hugot" about removing himself from things that hurt. His exact post used the words "repeatedly triggers" the mental health and one that hurts the heart as well. According to the singer-rapper, this should be considered as a top tier self-care.
