According to Mariel, she felt beyond grateful after seeing the partial results.

“My Senator is #1 we are beyond grateful!!! Pilipinas, maraming maraming salamat,” Mariel posted on Instagram.
She also uploaded a photo of her being sweet towards her soon-to-be senator husband.
In the comments section of Mariel’s post, MJ Marfori and RR Enriquez wrote some kind words for her.
MJ Marfori: “Ganda!!! Fresh na fresh kahit madami nangungulit this early.”
RR Enriquez: “Congrats Ma. Deserve nyo ang pagkapanalo. Naniniwala kami sa kakayahan ni Robin. Plus ikaw as asawa alam namin magtutulungan kayo.”
Robin Padilla is a famous action star and endorser in the Philippines. He is married to actress-host Mariel Padilla. The actor has two children with Mariel – Isabella and Gabriela. He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin is running for senator in the 2022 Elections. Based on the partial Election results, Robin is number one among all candidates.
In a previous report by KAMI, Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by Congress. Robin has also made known his position, saying that he wants the network to be reformed but he does not want it to get shut down.
Her husband Robin also made the news after his sibling BB Gandanghari accused him of being a neglectful brother and a hypocrite. Robin Padilla responded to BB by expressing his love for his sibling. Netizens praised Robin for not firing back against his sibling.
