“Nakakaiyak ang humility nya. Pumila. Naghintay. Walang special treatment,” Jodi wrote in her Twitter post.

Taking cue from the voting experience of VP Leni, the actress encouraged everyone to go out and vote, no matter what the circumstances are.

“Pilipinas, kahit mainit, mahaba ang pila, boboto tayo! Ito ang pinakamahalagang people’s rally natin,” Jodi added in her post.

She also advised everyone not to go home until they have seen a receipt of their vote.

“Wag uuwi hanggat hindi nakikita ang resibo ng boto nyo. Ikaw mismo ang maglalagay ng ballot sa VCM,” Jodi said.

The COMELEC has ordered polling precincts to open at six in the morning and to close at seven in the evening on May 9, 2022.

Jodi Sta. Maria is one of the iconic actresses in the Philippines. While already an actress years earlier, she became popular when she took on the role of “Maya” in the Philippine daytime hit drama series, “Please Be Careful With My Heart.”
