He chose "Mga bading for Leni-Kiko" and the photo he included was that of him, wearing a pink getup with a matching scarf.

In the caption, John encouraged his sisters, "Alam niyo na mga sisters, anak at fellow Mama! #MightAsWell #LabanSweet #TheUniversalSweetSaga #IpanaloNaNatinIto"

John has also been very vocal in supporting VP Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

He would often voice out his sentiments and would state his reasons why he would be voting for the Leni-Kiko tandem.

Recently, when Rafael Ragos admitted in his affidavit that he was allegedly threatened, John then commented about it as well.

"Hindi din siguro nakakatulog ang mga ito sa sobrang konsensya.," said Joh.

He also praised some of the children and the young generation of today for making a stand.

Jonathan Anthony Solis Lapus, more popularly known as John or Sweet Lapus, is a Pinoy comedian, actor, host, and director. He is the brother of Bianca Lapus. John is known for his roles in many films like Shake, Rattle & Roll.

John Lapus took to Twitter and reposted a news item made by ONE News PH on senatorial candidate Rodante Marcoleta. The comedian included a single-word caption in his tweet, "Demonyo!" Marcoleta was bragging about having closed ABS-CBN during a speech at one of the campaign rallies in Carmen, Davao del Norte. The closure of ABS-CBN has affected 11,000 employees all over the country and it led to the closure of regional offices of the network as well.

John Lapus took to Twitter and gave a strong reaction to the announcement of Sen. Manny Pacquiao that he would be running for President. The comedian aired his sentiments and said, "mga bakla!," addressing some members of the LGBTQ community. He then added, "Wag kalimutan, sinabihan tayo nyan ng Masahol pa sa Hayop." Sen. Pacquiao has openly declared that he would be running for President in 2022, but there is still no word from him who would be on his slate.
