Rica Peralejo clarified on social media that as a Christian, she does not worship Vice President Leni Robredo nor does she consider her as a saint.

“Dahilan na Kristiyano ako kaya gusto ko tong ibahagi. Hindi ko santa si Leni. Hindi din sya ang pagasa ng Pilipinas. Siya ang ehemplo ko. Sila ni Kiko. Sila din ay may talino at puso at katapatan na sa tingin ko ay karapatdapat sa pamumuno.
“Kapag nanalo sila, maligaya ako. Kapag hindi, malulungkot ako. Pero tulad ng mga iba kong ibinoto at hindi ibinoto noon, sinuman ang payagang iluklok ng Panginoon sa posisyon ay rerespetuhin ko. At kung sinuman ang umabuso sa posisyong ibinigay sa kanya ay lalabanan ko.
