The singer-actress recently joined a house to house campaign organized by the Leni-Kiko volunteers.
The night before the scheduled event, she messaged Direk Tonet if she has a list of the platforms of government of VP Leni Robredo.
“Direkk! Kinakabahan ako para bukas. Haha,” says the first part of Maris’ message as shared by Direk Tonet.

In the second part of the message, Maris asked if the famed director has a list of the VP’s platforms of government.
“May list ka ba direk ng mga plataporma ni leni? Hingi ako just in case matanong lang ako :)” Maris’ message read.
The famed director screengrabbed Maris’ message and reposted it on Twitter.
“Skl yung nagtanong pa siya kagabi ng plataporma oha very studious ka talaga!!!! Salamat Maris!!!” Direk Jadaone’s tweet read.
Maris has since then tweeted about her house to house campaign experience.
Antoinette Hilario Jadaone, more popularly known as Direk Tonet, is a Pinay filmmaker, podcaster, and director. Born on April 3, 1984, she’s a resident director of Star Cinema and is famous for directing That Thing Called Tadhana, Love You to the Stars and Back, Never Not Love You, Alone/Together, and Fan Girl.
Several months ago, Direk Tonet was featured in the congratulatory note of Cornerstone Management Inc. as one of the directors who got engaged. At the time, Direk Tonet and her fiancé were abroad for a project.
More recently, Direk Tonet took to Twitter and reposted the short video clip of Rufa Mae Quinto at the campaign rally of Sen. Manny Pacquiao in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. The director could not help but get amused at how Rufa actually campaigned for different candidates. She even asked jokingly, “mall tour yarn? Lahvet.” It was only recently that Rufa Mae also went up the stage during a UniTeam's rally, which drew a lot of different reactions.
