Gab Valenciano took to Instagram and wrote a lengthy and emotional post, wherein he narrated that he could not hold back the tears before he appeared onstage.

The next line was Gab, honoring his father, Gary Valenciano, whom he said was the man who helped mold him into who he is today.
"I couldn’t hold back my tears before I stepped on stage because everything you see me do, I learned from a man who helped mold me to who I am today. My dad, @garyvalenciano."
Thereafter, he expressed how honored he is to be able to serve the country in such manner.

"There is no greater honor than to serve your country, and to do it this way just leaves me speechless. I love you so much, papa."
He also thanked his mother, Angeli Pangilinan, whom he said was their pillar of strength, and one who defines what an empowered and faithful woman is.
"And of course to my mom @angelipv who has always been our pillar of strength as individuals and as a duo. You truly define what it means to be an empowered, faithful and resilient woman. I love you so much."
Gab Valenciano is the son of OPM legend Gary Valenciano. In 2014, he got married to Tricia Centenera in a civil wedding in the US and two more times in Tagaytay and Boracay in 2015. Unfortunately, the two separated due to Gab’s alleged cheating. He also experienced and overcame mental health issues, inspiring many people who are also struggling with the same issues.
The "Äng Presidente" chant of Gary Valenciano and his son, Gab, has gone viral. Their father and son tandem onstage during the Pasay rally was well-received by the attendees. Initially, it was only Gary V onstage, where he performed two of his greatest hits. Thereafter, he called his son, whom he described as one who has been in almost every rally of VP Leni, and thereafter started the iconic chant.
Gab Valenciano did not mince words when he dealt with a basher who wished him to be gone from this world because of the young actor’s alleged tirades against “Tatay Digs.” The basher indicated he’s very impatient when would Gab be gone from this world because of his depression. The young actor and director did not let the comment pass and gave a classy, but firm, answer that must have put the basher in his or her place.
