Instead of getting furious, Derek showed empathy and compassion towards his accuser.

The actor said that he can help the basher if the latter is feeling unloved and lonely. He then sent virtual hugs and kisses to the basher and wished him safety.

“If you are feeling alone and unloved, I can help. I can feel your sadness and loneliness. Sending you virtual hugs and kisses. Take care,” Derek told the netizen.
